In 2015 Youthline worked with over 38,000 young people in need and made 277,000 connections by phone, text and email. The cost of running our Helpline alone is over $600,000 a year. That works out to around $1 a minute.
For over 45 years Youthline has been providing support, information and services to young people and their families via our 24/7 Helpline tools - phone, text, email and chat.
With your help we can ensure that every call gets answered, every text responded to and every email actioned.
Whether it’s Chloe calling to talk about the abusive texts she’s been getting daily and about how she got beaten up on the way home from school or Nathan texting about how his parents are always fighting and about how he got so angry he punched a hole in the wall, Youthline is there, and has been for 45 years, to support young people.
There’s a lot going on in a young person’s life and sometimes it’s hard to talk to those closest to you. By donating to Youthline you can help someone like Chloe or Nathan to get the support that they need.
$15 dollars gives 15 minutes and 15 minutes can change a person’s life.
